HRH the Duchess of  Westminster today pledged to donate g₤2 million to Rosemont College for academic purposes. Last month, a student from the college had an audience with HM the Queen in which he requested additional financial support for the academic programs in the college. The Queen informed the Duchess of the visit, and she agreed to donate the money. “I am always happy to help students who require assistance with academics, especially those who place their hearts into helping others,” the Duchess said. The money is being used to update the classrooms with state-of-the-art technology and desks, purchase more computers for the school, increase the holdings of the Library, and go towards offering new classes. HM the Queen expresses her gratitude to the Duchess, and hopes that the gift will help produce “highly gifted Genovian students who will grow to accomplish great things and make Genovia an even better place.”
